Free Store @ BRILL FRC

The Free Store is a unique little shop built entirely on generosity, where everything on the shelves is completely free — no prices, no checkout, just community kindness in action. Run solely on donations, it gives pre‑loved items a new life while helping local families access what they need without cost or judgement.

At the heart of it all is Jasna and her wonderful team of volunteers, whose kindness, humour, and down‑to‑earth warmth make the space feel welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Their friendly chats, big smiles, and genuine care turn the store into more than a place to pick up items — it becomes a place to connect.

By sharing what we no longer use, we reduce waste, support one another, and keep good‑quality items circulating instead of ending up in landfill. It’s a simple but powerful way to take part in the circular economy: passing things forward, valuing resources, and making sustainable choices that benefit everyone.

The Free Store is a space where giving and taking are equally valued, and where every visit — whether you’re dropping something off or picking something up — strengthens our community in a meaningful, practical way.
