Pro-Teen: Education for Life

Education Support and Youth Work

‘Pro-Teen : Education for Life’ is a Secondary School Education Support Service which works with secondary school students living in the community of Ballybeg and surrounding areas.

Secondary school can be difficult and our goal is to help our members reach their full potential!

The Project works with students from 1st year to 6th year, offering:

  • Homework and study support
  • Guidance and support in exam subjects
  • Youth-work programmes and workshops
  • Recreation and leisure activities during school holidays

Through its youth work initiatives, Pro-Teen education also aims to help young people develop essential life skills such as assertiveness, self-confidence, effective communication, decision-making skills, and self-esteem. These programmes are designed to strengthen personal, social, and interpersonal development, empowering students to fully benefit from their educational journey.

Invest in yourself- We provide guidance and support to help students understand their homework, stay organised, and feel more confident in their schoolwork.

Struggling in a subject? We can offer focused support in exam subjects to help students improve.

Currently offering Maths grinds, with support available in other exam subjects based on demand.

Timetabled supervised study sessions, tailored to each year group to help students stay focused and on track.

Our recreation and leisure programmes provide opportunities for young people to unwind, build friendships, and take part in enjoyable activities.

Our activities during school holidays and Summer programme helps to keep students engaged, active, and connected outside of school.
