Young Person Education Support and Youth Work

MAD Club ( Making A Difference)  is a community based, After School hours, Education Support Service which works with secondary school students living in the community of Ballybeg and surrounding areas.

The Project works with students from 1st year to 6th year, offering:

  • Assistance with homework/study
  • Provision of Classes in Exam subjects

  • Recreation and leisure based programme

It also engages members through the Youth Work programmes which address issues including Assertiveness, Self Confidence, Effective Communication, Decision Making Skills, and Self Esteem towards enabling young people to develop their personal, interpersonal and social skills.
